Lapis Indigo Quilt & Shams by John Robshaw

The wood block for this design was one I first used for making carpets. Its large scale makes for challenging printing, but it's well worth the effort. The resulting circles of light and dark indigo somehow mesmerize the eye like a hypnotic wheel.
