Bedroom Designer Profile: Griffon Design Source
Through our Interior Design Program we try to make the job of the Interior Designer easy, once they get to the bedroom furnishings, by offering the sheeting, linen, and bedding lines that we carry, and constantly searching for what is new and “best in class.” In May, we showcased five Colorado Interior Designers that we work with. These five designers were invited to create a bedroom design and to select each of its main features: duvet covers and shams, coverlets, sheets and pillowcases, blankets, throws, and decorative pillows from either our Denver or our Boulder showrooms.Ramey Caulkins, of Griffin Design Source, is one of the five interior designers that we invited to participate. She has a natural, East coast, family-oriented design sensibility about her. Working with our Denver design team, she created a fresh look built around the Mikado chinoiserie pattern selected for the Euro shams. Drawing from the blue and brown palette of the shams, she paired a white piquet duvet cover, finished with a brown-trimmed scalloped edge, with a blue and white stripe linen blanket. Both simple and comfortable fabrics for bedding. Many of her finished rooms feature an animal in some way or other, and this vignette was no different with its cheetah print bolster and cow painting. An unpredictable yet class act, to be sure.
